30 Days of Doctor Who - Days 27, 28, 29 & 30

27) Favorite music: The Season 5 soundtrack. Again my love for Eleventh doctor appears. I specially love the “I am the Doctor” song.

28) Best villain: Come on. THE MASTER. That was way too easy. I love my Chaotic Evil villains. :3 Not more than I love my Lawful Evil villains, but still.

29) Worst villain: If they weren’t so iconic, I would grow tired of the Daleks, because they are way overused in the series. That didn’t stop me from liking some episodes in which they appear, like Dalek or The Asylum of the Daleks. But, for me, the worst villain of all would be the Cybermen. I think they are silly, although I like the first episode in which they appeared. The Daleks totally pwned them in Doomsday.

30) Why I love Doctor Who: Because it has taught me a LOT of things. It taught me to love, or at least, to respect science-fiction. It taught me to look things into another points of view. And in a way, it has taught me to be a better person.

30 Days of Doctor Who - Days 25 & 26

I was absent during half of August, so I think I’ll resume the meme in these days. :P

25) Best actor: I don’t know… I think all of them are awesome actors and actresses. I can’t decide whether I like David Tennant or Matt Smith more. Maybe I would incline the balance to Matt Smith, since I became a bit tired of DT because all his fans praising him. That doesn’t mean I don’t give him the merit of being a wonderful actor, because he obviously is.

26) Best actress: Same answer here. I don’t know who I would choose here. I love Catherine Tate’s acting very much, but I don’t know to put her in the best actress pedestal above other actresses. All of them deserve their merits. As much as I loathe her character, Alex Kingston makes a very good job too. And of course, I have a special spot for Karen Gillan, but that’s because I consider her not only a great actress, but a beautiful person too, inside and outside, for what I could view in interviews and similar. :3

30 Days of Doctor Who - Days 23 & 24

23) Favorite spin-off: None by the moment. I started watching Torchwood… so far I’m not very impressed. Although I liked Gwen Cooper a lot (also Eve Myles, voice actress of Merrill, OMG *fangirlsqueal*)

24) Best writer: NEIL GAIMAN. Please PLEASE write more episodes for Doctor Who. The Doctor’s Wife was just brilliant, and one of the few episodes of Series 6 I actually enjoyed. The exact thing I’ve expected of someone of his caliber. :3 Also, I liked Gatiss’s episodes a lot, actually, even if they don’t always make it to my Top 10.

Moffat has written a lot of good episodes there, whether you want it or not… although I’m not much of a fan. In fact, I wouldn’t know who I would choose between Russell T. Davies and him. Both have their virtues and flaws in writing. And both have episodes that I love and absolutely loathe.

30 Days of Doctor Who - Days 19, 20, 21 & 22

Since I skipped some days of these meme, I’ll going to do 4 days in a row. In one post. :P

19) Best Doctor’s phrase: I don’t know if it’s really the best, but it’s my personal favorite. Ten’s “Allons-y!” One of the few things I liked from Ten, really xD I don’t know, it’s catchy and silly and somehow joyful. :P It describes the good aspects of Ten’s personality pretty well.

20- Most annoying character: I’m not sure of this one. All of the companions’ mums would fall in this category: Jackie, Francine, and Donna’s mum specially. Madame Kovarian was pretty annoying too x3 And… I don’t know. There are plenty in extra characters, if you think about it…

21- Next serie, I want: More Doctor Who awesomeness. More historical episodes. Series 6 lacked terribly of historical episodes, and those are my favorites. I don’t know, surprise me. (Come already, Series 7!)

22- Next serie, I don’t want: A plot like in Series 6. It was really confusing and tiring already, and not in a very good way; stop messing with our minds and creating plot holes, Moffat x_x And I would not like the Ponds to die a horrible death, if it’s possible… I know. I’m asking too much.

30 Days of Doctor Who - Day 18

18) Most happy episode:

I don’t know about “most happy”, as an attribute to define a Doctor Who episode… let’s just say “most funny”. Not the same thing, but… you know. Easier to define.

So, I think in this category 2 episodes fall into a tide: Partners in Crime and The Lodger. In a show like this where drama is everywhere, is nice to encounter these episodes for a change :3

30 Days of Doctor Who - Day 17

17) Most sad episode:

Journey’s End, without any doubt. The outcome for this, I totally didn’t expect that. u.u And it’s incredibly unfair and cruel; of all the companions in New Who, Donna gets the worst ending so far (I dread to think about what Moffat has in store for Amy and Rory’s departure…). And it’s terrible because she was the best companion, specially for Ten. I’m not usually one that cries with TV shows, I didn’t shed a single tear with most of Doctor Who (maybe it’s because I was kind of prepared, some times spoiled, for some things) but this really touched me. x__x dsjfkhsdkjhf WHY.

Turn Left was kind of depressing, too. x3

30 Days of Doctor Who - Day 16

16) Most creepy alien:

… The Silence.

Just sjdhkljshdjkahsd. Get away from me.

Well, you are not supposed to remember them after you turn your back on them… but anyway. Tally marks. And their concept in general. NOPENOPENOPE.

30 Days of Doctor Who - Day 15

15) Creepiest episode?

Midnight. URGH. Midnight creeped the hell out of me. In both the good and the bad way. The first part wasn’t very interesting. But the second part… it was very clever to not see what was the actual form of the monster, but what it did on people. It frightened me more than any alien I’ve ever seen in this show. Even more than the Vashta Nerada, which appeared in the previous episodes. Or the Weeping Angels. I’m not even really afraid of Weeping Angels, not the way I was of this particular invisible monster. The acting was amazing here. And I have always been annoyed of people who repeated after me every thing I said. It was really distressing.

30 days of Doctor Who - Day 14

14) Favorite quote

dsjhkfjsdhjkfhs. I just don’t have only one favorite quote. Damnit. One of the things I like about this show are precisely the witty quotes you can get. Also some very thoughtful and deep.

One of my favorites is from the Master, in the Sound of Drums episode, which was by far the best thing about those two-parter:

The Master: No-no-no-no-no. Before we start all that, I just wanted to say: thank you. Thank you, one and all, you ugly, fat-faced bunch of wet, snivelling traitors.

Albert Dumfries, MP: Yes, quite. Very funny, but I think…

The Master[stands up] No. No. That wasn’t funny. Hmmm, you see, I’m not making myself very clear. Funny is like this. [exaggerates a grin] Not funny is like this. [exaggerates a frown] And right now, I’m not like [grins again], I’m like [frowns again], because you are traitors. Yes, you are!! As soon as you saw the votes swinging my way, you abandoned your parties and you jumped on the Saxon bandwagon! So, this is your reward! [dons a facial gas mask]

Also, Eleventh has a lot of favorite quotes. Witty and thoughtful, all at the same time. This one in The Big Bang touched me deeply:

The Doctor: [talking to a seven years old Amelia Pond while she is sleepingI’ll be a story in your head. But that’s OK. We’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?

And some funny ones, like this in The Impossible Astronaut:

Nixon: But… who are they and… what is that box?
The Doctor: It’s a police box. Can’t you read? I’m your new undercover agent on loan from Scotland Yard. Codename: The Doctor. These are my top operatives: [indicates Amy, Rory, and River in turn] The Legs, The Nose, and Mrs. Robinson.
River: I hate you.
The Doctor: No, you don’t.

I know, I know, Ninth and Tenth Doctors have some good ones, too. But you know who is my favorite. :P

30 Days of Doctor Who - Day 13

13) Favorite gadget?

Saying “sonic screwdriver” would have been kind of obvious. So I’m just going to say…

The psychic paper!

It really comes in handy. :P
